FAQs

What is ABA therapy?

It is a therapeutic approach based on the science of learning and behavior, commonly used to increase helpful behaviors, teach new skills, and decrease harmful or interfering behaviors.

How do your services differ from other providers?

Unlike traditional ABA programs, heavy emphasis is on family involvement, placing parents in the driver’s seat. In addition to parent and provider education, we provide hands-on support in the moment as new skills are practiced so coaching opportunities are observable and in real time. We also remove the need for multi-tiered service providers so each family has a dedicated highly-trained clinician to ensure the consistency and quality of all sessions.

What ages do you serve?

Because families can benefit from support at any age, we do not have have an age restriction. Most of our clients are between the ages of 1.5-5 years, and our clinicians have experience with toddlers through young adulthood.

Does my child need a formal diagnosis or referral?

Services covered by private pay do not require a diagnosis or referral. That being said, a formal diagnosis would be helpful to access additional services and supports.

What is the time commitment for my family?

Service intensity is determined based on the results of thorough assessment and the types of services your family is seeking. This can range from 1-5 hours for skill focused services (e.g., ADHD support) and 10-20 hours per week for parent-mediated early intervention therapy. Consistent attendance and participation at the recommended service intensity will be critical for your family’s success.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, we are not in-network with any insurance companies but hope to be soon.

What are the clinicians’ qualifications and credentials?

All of our clinicians are licensed behavior analysts (LBA) in the state of Texas and are board certified behavior analysts (BCBA) through the Behavior Analytic Certification Board (BACB).

Residents are in the process of completing the 2000 fieldwork hours necessary to sit for their board certification exam. All residents are under the supervision of our lead clinician and do not practice independently.

Do you provide Telehealth services?

Yes, Telehealth is available for those whose needs and treatment goals align with this form of service provision. Clinical appropriateness can be discussed with the assessing clinician following the initial assessment.
